Description

These Air Fryer Chicken Caesar Cutlets bring the delicious flavors of a Caesar salad into crispy, golden cutlets without the heavy frying. The air fryer ensures a crunchy, golden crust while keeping the chicken juicy and tender on the inside. Perfect for dinner or meal prepping!

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken cutlets (or chicken breasts, sliced thin)
  • Olive oil spray (for air fryer basket)
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken cutlets dry with a paper towel to remove moisture. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken cutlet into Caesar dressing, making sure it’s coated on both sides. Dredge in panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
  4. Air Fry the Chicken: Place the breaded chicken cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  5. Add the Parmesan: Drizzle the cooked chicken with extra Caesar dressing and sprinkle with grated Parmesan while still hot.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve as is, or with a side of Caesar salad, roasted vegetables, or over pasta.

Notes

  • Crispy Coating: Toast the panko breadcrumbs in a dry skillet for extra crunch before breading the chicken.
  • Chicken Thickness: If the chicken cutlets are too thick, use a meat mallet to pound them down for even cooking.
  • Flavor Boost: Add Parmesan to the breadcrumb mixture for a cheesier crust.
