Description
Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious! Air fryer salmon is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Ready in just 15 minutes, this simple yet flavorful recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions
- Prep the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Salmon: Place the fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, making sure they aren’t overlapping. Air fry for 7-10 minutes, depending on the thickness and your desired level of doneness.
- Check for Doneness: The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve with your favorite sides or a fresh salad. Garnish with extra lemon if desired.
Notes
- Make sure to pat the salmon dry before cooking to get that crispy skin.
- For a smoky twist, try adding smoked paprika or chili flakes to the seasoning mix.
- Use skin-on fillets for the best flavor and texture.
