Description
These Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs are the ultimate fusion of burger and appetizer perfection. Juicy beef, gooey cheese, crispy bacon, and buttery crescent rolls come together to form bite-sized delights that are perfect for parties, game day, or anytime you want a delicious twist on burgers.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 8–10 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled or halved
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp milk (optional, for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds or Everything Bagel seasoning (optional, for topping)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, and any desired seasonings (such as garlic powder or onion powder). Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat patty.
Place a small piece of shredded cheese in the center of each beef patty. Top the cheese with a slice of cooked bacon (halved or crumbled), then carefully wrap the beef around the filling to enclose it completely. Seal the edges tightly and set aside.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place one beef-filled ball at the wide end of each triangle. Wrap the dough around the beef ball, pinching the edges to seal it completely. Arrange the wrapped bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk (if using). Brush the tops of the bombs with the egg wash, then sprinkle with sesame seeds or Everything Bagel seasoning for added flavor and crunch.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bombs for 15–20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the beef is fully cooked through. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Serve these Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs warm with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ketchup, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing.
Notes
- For an extra cheesy kick, you can add more cheese inside the beef patties or sprinkle some on top before baking.
- Use different types of cheese, like pepper jack or American, for variety.
- To make these bombs gluten-free, substitute the crescent rolls with a gluten-free alternative.
