Description

A refreshing and vibrant iced tea infused with the sweet flavors of peaches and raspberries, inspired by the classic Bellini cocktail. This drink is perfect for hot summer days, offering a fruity twist on your typical iced tea with a touch of elegance.

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 2 cups of peach tea (brewed or tea bags)
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, thawed)
  • 1/2 cup peach puree or peach nectar
  • 12 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda (for fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh peach slices and raspberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea: Brew your peach tea according to the instructions on the package. Let it cool to room temperature or refrigerate it to speed up the cooling process.
  2. Prepare the raspberry puree: In a blender, blend the raspberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds if desired.
  3. Mix the peach and raspberry elements: In a pitcher, combine the cooled peach tea with the raspberry puree and peach nectar. Stir well to mix.
  4. Add sweetness: If you want to sweeten the iced tea, add honey or your preferred sweetener and stir until dissolved.
  5. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the peach raspberry iced tea over the ice.
  6. Add fizz: Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda for a light effervescence.
  7. Garnish (optional): Garnish with fresh peach slices and a few raspberries.
  8. Enjoy! Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic option, this Bellini-inspired iced tea is perfect as is! You could also experiment with adding a splash of white wine for an adult version.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste, especially if you’re using sweetened peach nectar.
