Indulge in the sweet and crunchy goodness of homemade candy apples with this easy recipe. Perfect for parties or a fun treat!

Ingredients

– 6 Organic Apples

– 6 Wooden Skewers, Lollipop or Popsicle sticks

– 2 Cups White Sugar

– 1/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup

– 1 Cup Water

– Red Food Coloring

Instructions

1. Wash and dry the apples. Remove any stems and insert a wooden skewer into the top of each apple.

2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and a few drops of red food coloring. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).

3. Dip each apple into the hot candy mixture, coating evenly. Place on a greased baking sheet to cool and harden.

4. Enjoy your homemade candy apples once they have fully set!

Notes

– For a fun twist, try adding different food coloring to create a variety of colored candy apples.

– To add extra flavor, sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles on the candy coating before it hardens.
