Description

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts)
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce (or homemade)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Alfredo sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Pour in the Alfredo sauce and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth and heated through. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the lasagna:
    • Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Place a layer of lasagna noodles on top.
    • Add half of the shredded chicken, half of the ricotta cheese, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
    • Repeat the layering process: sauce, noodles, chicken, ricotta, and mozzarella.
    • Finish with a final layer of noodles, Alfredo sauce, and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let the lasagna sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Enjoy!

  • You can make the lasagna ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
