Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), cooked and sliced
- 4 flour tortillas (10-inch size)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned on both sides and fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side). Slice the chicken into thin strips and set aside.
- Make the garlic sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Prepare the sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the sautéed garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, and oregano. Stir until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the wraps:
- Lay out the flour tortillas on a flat surface.
- Spread a generous amount of the creamy garlic sauce onto the center of each tortilla.
- Add sliced chicken on top, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Wrap and cook: Roll the tortillas into wraps, folding in the sides and rolling up tightly.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove from heat, slice in half, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with a side of your favorite dipping sauce or a salad.
Notes
- You can add sautéed vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the garlic sauce.
- These wraps can be made ahead and stored in the fridge, then reheated in a skillet for best results.
