Description

These Cheesy Garlic Crescent Rolls are a delightful twist on classic crescent rolls. Filled with melted cheese, garlic, and herbs, they’re perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or even a snack. They’re easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the triangles from each other. Spread a thin layer of the butter mixture over each triangle, leaving a small border at the wide end. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese onto the center of each triangle.
  4. Roll them up: Starting at the wide end, tightly roll up each triangle into a crescent shape. Place the rolled-up crescents on the prepared baking sheet, pointed ends down.
  5. Brush with remaining butter mixture: If you have any leftover butter mixture, brush it gently over the tops of the rolls for extra flavor and golden browning.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve: Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm with a sprinkle of additional parsley for garnish if desired.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy version, you can add more shredded cheese or experiment with different types of cheese, such as cheddar or provolone.
  • These rolls can also be frozen after assembling. Simply place them in an airtight container and freeze for up to 1 month. When ready to bake, let them thaw for 30 minutes before baking as directed.
