Description

Crispy, golden chicken fritters packed with flavor and juiciness in every bite. Easy to make, versatile, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or main dish. These fritters are sure to become a favorite in your recipe rotation!

Ingredients

Scale

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs) – 2 medium breasts (about 1 lb) or 2 thighs
  • Eggs – 2 large
  • All-purpose flour1/2 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Onion powder – 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tbsp (for garnish)
  • Olive oil (for frying) – 2-3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
Dice the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Mix the Fritter Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, flour, baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add a bit of water if the batter seems too thick.

  3. Combine the Chicken and Batter
Add the diced chicken to the batter and stir until the chicken is fully coated.

  4. Fry the Fritters
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, drop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter into the skillet. Flatten them with a spatula. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Drain and Serve
Remove the fritters from the pan and drain on paper towels. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispy fritters, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch to the batter.
  • If you’re using chicken thighs, they will provide a juicier texture.
  • These fritters store well in the fridge for up to 3 days and can be reheated in a skillet or oven.
