Instructions

- Cream the butter and eggs: In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter-egg mixture, alternating with milk. Mix gently until combined—don’t overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Bake the bread: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If needed, tent with foil to prevent overbrowning.
- Cool and slice: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
