Description

A hearty and comforting dish that combines ground beef, corn, and creamy goodness all topped with crispy tater tots. Perfect for busy weeknights, this casserole is a crowd-pleaser that can be made ahead and easily reheated!

  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, corn, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Assemble the casserole: Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Top with tater tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  6. Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
