Ingredients
- Pork chops: 3 boneless pork chops (about 6 oz each)
- Ranch seasoning: 2 tablespoons
- Heavy cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Olive oil or butter: 2 tablespoons (for browning)
- Salt: To taste (around 1/2 teaspoon)
- Pepper: To taste (around 1/4 teaspoon)
- Optional (Cream cheese): 2 tablespoons (for extra creaminess, if desired)
- Optional (Vegetables, such as mushrooms or spinach): 1/2 cup (if adding to the sauce)
Instructions
- Season the Pork Chops: Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and a generous sprinkle of ranch seasoning.
- Brown the Pork Chops: Heat olive oil or butter in a hot skillet and sear the pork chops on both sides until golden brown.
- Make the Creamy Ranch Sauce: In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and ranch seasoning. Stir to combine and scrape up flavorful bits from the pan. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Combine and Simmer: Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the creamy ranch sauce over them. Reduce heat to low and let everything simmer for a few more minutes.
Notes
- Use Bone-In Pork Chops: Bone-in chops provide juicier, more flavorful results.
- Don’t Overcook: Ensure the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F to prevent dryness.
- Creamy Twist: For extra creaminess, consider adding a bit of cream cheese to the sauce.
