Description

These Easy Cinnamon Cruffins are a delightful treat that combines the flaky, buttery texture of a croissant with the soft, sweet goodness of a muffin. Filled with cinnamon sugar and baked to golden perfection, they are a perfect addition to any morning or afternoon snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
  • 1 package (about 17.3 oz or 500g) Puff pastry sheets
  • Butter or non-stick spray (for greasing the muffin tin)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease the muffin tin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar, set aside.
  3. Unroll puff pastry sheets, flatten slightly with a rolling pin, brush with softened butter, and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into 1.5-inch wide strips and roll each into a spiral. Place into the prepared muffin tin standing upright.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Let the cruffins cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute croissant dough for puff pastry if needed.
