This Hamburger Potato Casserole is a comforting and hearty dish that combines layers of tender potatoes, seasoned ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheddar cheese. It’s the perfect easy meal for a cozy night in!
Ingredients
– 6 small Potatoes, peeled and thin sliced
– 2 lb Ground Beef, browned and drained
– 21 oz Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup (2 cans)
– 1 1/2 cup Milk
– 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
– 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
– 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder.
3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, then half of the beef mixture. Repeat with remaining potatoes and beef mixture.
4. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
5. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
– For a twist, try adding some cooked bacon pieces to the beef mixture.
– You can also top the casserole with some crispy fried onions for added crunch.
