Perfect for game days, holiday parties, or any gathering, these easy-to-make snacks are sure to be a hit with friends and family.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground pork sausage (mild or spicy, depending on preference)
  • 1 (8 oz / 225g) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 (8 oz / 225g each) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
  2. Cook the sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Assemble the bites:
    1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
    2. Place about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture in the center of each triangle.
    3. Roll up the dough, starting at the widest end, and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Bake: Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheets, seam side down, leaving space between each. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  6. Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions, if desired.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling.
  • These can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. Just bake fresh when ready to serve!
  • Serve with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or marinara for added flavor.
