Description

This Juicy Baked Firecracker Chicken recipe is a flavor explosion in every bite! Tender chicken breasts are smothered in a spicy, sweet, and sticky sauce that will have you coming back for seconds.

Ingredients

– 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless, about 1 1/2 lbs)

– Firecracker Sauce:

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped

– 1/4 cup olive oil

– 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

– 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

– 1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Sriracha)

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Optional Garnish:

– 1 green onion, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.

2. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the firecracker sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish, pour the sauce over them, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

4. Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley before serving.

Notes

– For an extra kick, increase the amount of hot sauce or red pepper flakes in the sauce.

– Serve the chicken over rice or with a side of roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
