Main Ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 tbsp)
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the pork chops: Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Sear the pork chops: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Make the lemon butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Finish cooking the pork chops: Return pork chops to the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Stir in remaining butter and fresh parsley.
- Serve: Plate the pork chops and spoon the lemon butter sauce over them. Enjoy!
