  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops: Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Sear the pork chops: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the lemon butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Finish cooking the pork chops: Return pork chops to the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Stir in remaining butter and fresh parsley.
  5. Serve: Plate the pork chops and spoon the lemon butter sauce over them. Enjoy!
