- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided: 1/2 cup for breading and 1/2 cup for the sauce)
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola oil) for frying
