Ingredients
– 2 1/2 cup Peaches, diced
– 2 cup Flour
– 2 tsp Baking Powder
– 1/2 tsp Salt
– 3/4 cup Sugar
– 1/2 cup Milk
– 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
– 1 Egg
– 1 tsp Vanilla
Glaze:
– 2 cup Powdered Sugar
– 1 tbsp Milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla.
4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled peach bread before serving.
Notes
– For added texture, you can sprinkle some chopped nuts on top of the glaze.
– To enhance the peach flavor, consider adding a dash of cinnamon to the batter.
