Description

Pizza Monkey Bread is a fun, pull-apart dish that combines all your favorite pizza flavors—cheese, pepperoni, and marinara sauce—into a golden, crispy bread that’s easy to make and a hit at any gathering. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or a fun twist on pizza night!

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough if preferred)
  • 1 cup pepperoni (or your choice of pizza toppings)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare the Dough:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan or round cake pan with olive oil. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters or roll out pizza dough and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Assemble the Layers:
In a large bowl, combine dough pieces, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss until everything is evenly coated with cheese and seasoning.

  3. Layer in the Pan:
Drizzle a little olive oil in the pan, then layer the dough mixture in the pan, adding layers until everything is used up. Drizzle a bit more olive oil over the top.

  4. Bake Until Golden:
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread is puffed up, golden, and crispy. The cheese should be bubbling. If the top gets too brown, loosely cover with foil and continue baking.

  5. Serve and Enjoy:
Let it cool slightly, flip it out of the pan, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra cheese, add more mozzarella or use a blend of Italian cheeses.
  • To make crispy edges, drizzle garlic butter over the top before baking.
  • If you want more pull-apart action, cut the dough into smaller pieces.
