Description

This Scalloped Pineapple Souffle is a delicious and fluffy dessert that combines the sweetness of pineapple with a light and airy texture. Perfect for a special occasion or a sweet treat any day!


Ingredients

  • – 3 eggs, whites and yolks separated
  • – 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • – 1/2 cup butter
  • – 1/2 cup milk
  • – 1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • – 3 cups cubed bread

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the milk and add to the egg yolk mixture.

4. Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple and cubed bread.

5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold them into the mixture.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set.

7. Serve warm and enjoy!


Notes

– For a tropical twist, add shredded coconut to the mixture before baking.

– For a richer flavor, substitute some of the milk with coconut milk.
