Description

  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed

For filling:

  • 4 oz. Tagalong cookies
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup demerara sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

For glaze:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, slightly softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Combine milk, flour, water, eggs, yeast, sugar, and salt. Knead in butter until smooth. Let rise.
  2. Make the filling: Mix crushed Tagalongs, butter, sugar, chocolate chips, and salt.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Roll out dough, spread filling, roll up, and cut into rolls.
  4. Bake: Place rolls in a pan and let rise. Bake until golden brown.
  5. Glaze: Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and peanut butter. Drizzle over warm rolls.
