For filling:
- 4 oz. Tagalong cookies
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup demerara sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
For glaze:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese, slightly softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted, as needed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Combine milk, flour, water, eggs, yeast, sugar, and salt. Knead in butter until smooth. Let rise.
- Make the filling: Mix crushed Tagalongs, butter, sugar, chocolate chips, and salt.
- Assemble the rolls: Roll out dough, spread filling, roll up, and cut into rolls.
- Bake: Place rolls in a pan and let rise. Bake until golden brown.
- Glaze: Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and peanut butter. Drizzle over warm rolls.
