Description

A delicious and crispy chicken parmesan recipe that is sure to be a hit at the dinner table. The chicken is coated in a flavorful blend of Italian panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, then baked to perfection with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella.


Ingredients

– 3/4 cup Flour

– 2 eggs

– 1 1/4 cup Italian Panko Bread Crumbs

– 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese

– 2 1/2 tbsp chopped Parsley, divided

– 2-4 tbsp Oil

– 3 boneless skinless Chicken Breast halves

– 24 oz Marinara Sauce

– 1 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.

2. In one bowl, whisk eggs. In another bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and 2 tbsp parsley.

3. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture. Place in baking dish.

4. Drizzle oil over chicken and bake for 25 minutes.

5. Pour marinara sauce over chicken, sprinkle with mozzarella, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

6. Garnish with remaining parsley before serving.


Notes

– For a healthier option, you can bake the chicken instead of frying it.

– Feel free to add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for some extra heat.
