Description

This Peach Margarita is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and refreshing flavors. Made with just four simple ingredients, it’s an easy cocktail that’s perfect for summer days, backyard barbecues, or relaxing evenings. Juicy peach puree, smooth tequila, zesty lime juice, and a touch of orange liqueur come together for a drink that’s both fruity and refreshing. Serve it on the rocks or blended for a frozen twist!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 oz tequila (silver or reposado)
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1 1/2 oz peach puree (fresh or frozen peaches blended)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice (for serving)
  • Optional: Peach slices & lime wedges for garnish
  • Optional: Sugar or salt for rimming the glass

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Glass

  1. If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it in sugar or salt. Set aside.

Step 2: Mix the Margarita

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, orange liqueur, peach puree, and lime juice.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice, then shake well for about 15 seconds to chill the drink.

Step 3: Serve

  1. Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice, then strain the margarita into the glass.
  2. Garnish with a peach slice or lime wedge and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen Version: Blend all the ingredients with 1 cup of ice for a frosty, slushy margarita.
  • Make it sweeter: If you prefer a sweeter drink, add ½ oz simple syrup or agave nectar.
  • Peach Puree Tip: If using frozen peaches, let them thaw slightly before blending. You can also strain the puree for a smoother consistency.
  • Mocktail Version: Replace tequila and orange liqueur with sparkling water and a splash of orange juice for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink.
